Hello! My name is Anna Simon and I am a Senior at Iowa State University majoring in agricultural communications with an emphasis on swine science. Although I grew up in the heart of Des Moines and wasn’t directly involved with the agricultural industry, many of my relatives are part of this wonderful ag community and my brother is who sparked my passion for the industry! Personally, I hope to elevate the business side of agriculture someday with things like social media outreach, community involvement, event planning, and brand development. I hope that any career I may come across in the future will bring me new learning opportunities and relationships that will last a lifetime! I look forward to sharing my work with you.
