My name is Jacob Campen, and I am a Freshman studying Electrical Engineering at Iowa State University. I am from Rosemount, Minnesota, where I graduated from Rosemount High School in June of 2016. I am currently a member of the Freshmen Honors Program. I am in the Iowa State Singers and part of the PRISUM Solar Car Team on campus. I work at the ISU Theatre department as an office assistant. My hobbies include playing piano and staying up to date on technology.
My major is Electrical Engineering, and this semester I was able to take an introductory EE course. I am pleased to say it was one of my most interesting classes. The class really has me excited for my future classes and my future career. Following is a picture of the old entrance to Coover Hall, which, as the Electrical and Computer Engineering building, is shaping up to be my home for the next 3.5 years (at least, although I do hope to graduate in 4 years).
This website is a portfolio of my work from Honors English 250H. This is the first English class I have taken at Iowa State and is a strong foundation for my future in communication.
