and lastly...

My Dearest Emily,

It is with great sorrow and anguish that I write this letter for our time together has come to a close. Our time together, although brief, was filled with so much joy. I can only be thankful for the memories you have imparted in me. In the inception of our relationship, I came to you weakened in my writing. My organization poor and my thoughts lost in space. My knowledge and my abilities as a communicator in the WOVE modes were but a fraction of what it is now.

With each project you presented me, I met it head on with all my heart. In the beginning, I was lost. My composing process weak and I unable to organize my thoughts on parchment. I was lost before my pen met paper. My way of writing has always been to write first and organize later. It was not until I found you, I saw the light. Now, I organize my thoughts on paper. With a proper outline written out and a simple draft drawn. I take into consideration, the audience of those I write to, which includes my peers and of course, you. Through use of rhetoric and phrasing I adapt my writing to those who would read. Finally, little has changed about my editing process. I still edit at the end, this time with less vigor since most of my energy for editing was exhausted for the pre-writing. Organizing my thoughts and the fashion in which I will write ahead of time allows for less editing at the end. Which in my professional opinion is a great improvement to my editing process.

Another great improvement I have made through my time with you is my expansive knowledge of electronic communication. Through my writing and the projects, you have tasked me with I have sharpened my tools and honed my blades. With precise work and skillful manipulation of the world wide web I am able to take advantage of the vast resources and gather information at an unprecedented level. Although, it is without saying, that my talents in the art of penmanship is weak. It is perhaps the most difficult tool for me to master out of my WOVE tool box. Through the continuation of practicing best methods and keeping in mind my need for organization. I continue to take strides towards perfection.

At the end of it all, I, will always remember our adventures, our friendship and our pain. Your life lessons I will carry with me for the rest of my life. Woven into my very being and with each and every word I write. Although I cannot write how I truly feel, and the time has now come to part. Your stories and your teachings shall always remain. As will your affectionate heart.

Yours truely
