My name is McAllister Kosar, I am studying and working towards a degree in community and regional planning at Iowa State University. While working on my degree I hope to cross through all sorts of genres of natural sciences, social sciences, and degree related courses. By experiencing a diverse platform while learning I hope to gain perspective in areas that will benefit me in my degree and future professions.

This portfolio is an example of my learning on specified and diverse subjects. In context of what areas of focus I encountered in English 250H  my group and independent work focused on sociology and nature. Sociology and nature have some obvious and other more discrete correlations. Throughout the semester our theme allowed us to engulf peer reviewed sources, articles, and novels.

This Portfolio offers insight from the perspective of a freshman student. Some works like the annotated bibliography display more of the perspective of the authors chosen by myself or the group. The authors chosen offered clear ideas that related to the way we analyzed the relation between nature and our position in society.
