About Me

I am not the best writer to ever exist, nowhere close. If you’re reading this, you’ll see that fairly clearly. I’m not perfect, but I like to think I do know what I’m doing when I write. I have worked hard over a semester to improve myself as a writer, and I hope that is reflected in the works in the following pages.

My writing style is fairly direct. I begin writing and just grow each section as my brain creates ideas. I generate topics I need or want to talk about and expand them into their own sections. I reread multiple times and edit to fit the tone and flow of the piece. I’m not one to really plan or agonize over fine details in a piece. I write what is necessary and details come after to help better elaborate on my ideas.

In future writing courses and opportunities to write, I hope my ability truly begins to mature, and I can begin to call writing one of my better skills.
