When I took over the role of chairperson of Hall Improvement Committee at the end of September, the committee had a budget of $3,000 with nothing to spend it on. Traditionally, Hall Improvement picked a single project (buying each house a vacuum, purchasing additional movies for the hall desk), and implemented it without outside feedback. After seeing bills related to hall improvement going through a two-week, elaborate process before the senate and discussing it with both the senate and my committee, we voted to start accepting and voting on bills. This allowed each house to have a better chance of receiving funding, and sped up the process. Below are the bills that Hall Improvement has approved and granted funding for.
