Opinion:

I think the story is very powerful. Seeing someone who is homeless not just sit there and be homeless but try to not only help themselves but others as well all while doing it through social media and emailing. I agree but yet disagree with this story. I agree with the wanting to help others part and such but I don’t agree with the him not leaving because he doesn’t want to leave them. But if you want better you have to do better first. He could’ve moved out and showed others it’s not hard and then maybe they’d try it. But I do understand he doesn’t want them to look at him different. This article was presented to me as a homeless person who uses social media to get his point across. But then again it could be something way deeper than that.

 

Analysis: Pathos

It’s sad that sitting at computer should make someone feel at home. No one should feel at home from just being on a computer. But in this case this is sort of like Eric’s only home. He lives in and through the social media. Maybe it’s the only place he feels at home or feels comfortable. He has a dedication for trying to make a difference for years through a computer screen.

What is the criteria for the top 10 list?

– About the top halloween costumes in america and why they are popular.

Out of the top 10 list, what do you agree belonged? What didn’t? If they all belonged, why?

-All of them except the ghost, no one really does the ghost costume

Are you in agreement with the number 1? Why or why not?

-No I am not in agreement with the number 1 costume because I think the number one costume would be the super hero costume because super heroes are more popular than witches to me.

What arguments did the narrator make for the number 1? Was it consistent with the criteria listed at the beginning?

– Yes it was because all the costumes were basic and all well known

Suggest a new number 1 and explain why you feel it deserves that slot.

-Police officer or army costumes. It’s unisex and simple and it’s all known

Now, thinking of what the narrator said for the number 1 selection and what you just suggested, is there bias? Is the audience left with a choice?

-Yes they are, because the costume I chose is unisex and the witch costume is more for woman.

Summary: This video is about how Toy Story 3 should have ended. If you have seen the movie you would know Andy gives away his toys to a neighborhood little girl. But int this video he takes the toys back from her and takes them to college and the toys finally decide to show Andy that they can talk.

Analysis: This was a more funny ending but if this what everyone was thinking. After having these toys over 15 years why would you just give them away? And the creators of HISHE did a great job at explaining and showing what would happen if Andy had realized his true love for the toys before he just up and gave them away.

 

Summary: Inside Out is about Riley, a normal preteen girl who lives an average life and then her family tells her that they are moving to a different state. Then we go into Riley’s brain, and we meet all her emotions Joy, Anger, Fear, Disgust, and Sadness. Riley’s memories get messed up and they all have to fix them.

Analysis: If this movie had ended this way then it would have made the movie a bit more understanding because why didn’t her imaginary friend just come out and tell her what was going on before. Also the emotions shouldn’t have let him return especially if they knew he was a goofball through out the movie. The HISHE creators caught my eye with this one but not my complete understanding of the concept.

 

Summary: This one they made Elsa an X-Men character with her powers instead of locking her in her room and letting her fear her powers all her life and turning the kingdom into an Arctic land.

Analysis: This was more of a funny mash up video. Not so much of how it should have ended just how things ended up becoming. But they did a great job of collaborating the two movies and putting them into one and making use of Elsa’s powers.
