This research project was done during the fall semester of my junior year. For this project, I was put into a group with three other classmates. We were given instructions to find an event/group on campus, research it, and find ways to potentially make it better. The reason I liked this project so much was the detailed sections and steps in order to complete it properly. We got to run a focus group and online survey which I had not done prior to this assignment. The practice I got writing questions and preparing for a focus group will help me in the future because it became easier to leave my comfort zone. I got great experience working with others inside and out of the classroom. We had to stay on track and make sure everyone was on the same page throughout the many steps. It was a great experience and loved working with my group members. This was a difficult but rewarding project as I learned a lot and got to try new research techniques.
