This is a Press Release I created for a Journalism class during my junior year. We got a lot of practice with different forms of writing in Journalism. The Press Release was the assignment and style I liked most. I got to practice writing on a short deadline and being able to plan out and be efficient with my time. I am now more confident with this type of writing. I can incorporate the information needed in a strong press release and deliver it to the readers in an effective way. The practice I got writing in many styles in this class will make my future writing endeavors easier as I have all of the necessary skills.
