Special Reflection

One of the main advantages of being able to author web content is the ability to contribute to the mass amounts of content circulating the web. It gives authors a voice on the web platform, and the opportunity to present their work however they see fit. As the world continues to grow smaller through connections on the internet, web composing substantially increases the reach of authors to a unfathomably large audience of web users all around the globe. No other platform allows for this to happen which speaks to the benefit of authoring web content.

Web composing is similar to conventional composing in the sense that its the same content, only on a different platform. A ‘pdf’ file will contain the same information as a book, as will an image file contain a picture. However, differences do exist. A video recording for example, mishaps may be re-edited and corrected, but the same cannot be said of a live presentation.
