I strongly believe that my best work as a communicator is reflected in my oral presentation for Assignment 4. This is because it was a real struggle for me to overcome the anxiety of speaking to a crowd, and just as much as it was a personal victory that I overcame that, it was clear that I have done well in the presentation too. To interest the audience, I spent extra time in making sure the presentation slides were attractive and supported my presentation rather than distract from it. Since the nature of presentations don’t allow for do-overs, I could not use feedback to improve upon my presentation. That said, feedback after the fact were very encouraging. Initially, I had an additional point that I was looking to present on as well. However, I went over the time limit during rehearsals and ultimately decided to omit it. It has turned out to be the right decision in the end. This experience reminded me that I have all the necessary resources to be a good speaker/presenter.
