Based on my feedback, my literacy autobiography was interesting and covered relevant events, but I can improve on the layout of the essay. The introduction could be broader and offer a straightforward thesis that is easy to understand. In addition, the examples I provide should be expanded to provide more detail and context. My conclusion should be comprehensive of what I covered in the essay and summarize my thoughts.
I have experience writing academic papers from high school AP Language and Composition and AP Literature and Composition classes. As a result, I was able to hone my writing skills and practice different styles. In English 250, I expect to have strengths in composing essays and conveying my point across in a deliberate manner.
Based on my past experiences, I expect that it may be challenging to focus when we have work time in class. I often focus best when I am either in my own room or in the library. In class, I easily get distracted by other thoughts. In order to meet this challenge, I will try to remain focused and come to class with energy, by getting enough sleep and making sure I’ve eaten something beforehand.
