Exploring the intersection of digital scholarship and rhetoric and communication
A professional site that highlights my scholarly work and teaching philosophy.
I can say what I want, but my former students have some kind words.
I interviewed some of my students to ask them how I perceived my teaching and ways I integrated different learning technologies. Watch the video to see what they said.
About Me
I am a PhD student at Iowa State University in the Rhetoric and Professional Communication program. As a graduate assistant, I teach courses in first year composition and business communication.
My completed coursework in visual rhetoric, data visualization, multimedia production, content management, and user experience has prepared me for a career in digital scholarship and teaching.
My previous work with the Online Learning Team at ISU I helped support the English Department’s learning management system and ePortfolio content management platforms. On this site you can browse my teaching statements, view some of multimedia creations, and explore the digital work I have designed.
