Being an author of your own website gives you much more freedom than browsing a website would. By being able to be the own author you can add, take out and change absolutely any of the information, visuals, and layout you want to have. It’s a blank canvas and you create anything you please. Knowing the particular audience is important, whether it is creating a website or writing an essay. This website, in particular, is for our professor. Therefore, it has to be professional and formal. In this class, we did all the way from written essays, oral presentations, powerpoint presentations, and visuals. The website is different from those since it’s interactive and the person on the website decides where to go. Everything is laid out in different parts of the website and the audience, you, decide where to go. Essays may get boring but, on websites, there’s so much information you can store in so many different places. That’s the great part of it! It seems organized and sleek even when there may be much more information than an essay would contain.

After creating this website I feel more fit to create more. Whether it’s websites or powerpoints, I feel like I’m ready to have an open mind and create them. I’m not going to lie, creating this website was hard since I had no prior experience with WordPress or any website designing concepts. Nevertheless, I learned how. I enjoyed creating the website and learning new ways to reflect on my prior work.
