I chose for assignment #3 to talk about the Study Abroad program. I chose the Study Abroad program because I felt as though I could talk easily about a campus resource instead of an actual building. In the Study Abroad essay, I wrote a thesis statement that related to my whole topic and drew three main topics that I wrote across the assignment. I had more time to write this assignment rather than the other ones that I rushed into. Nevertheless, there’s room for improvement in the thesis selection and citation. I find myself having trouble with citing but hopefully with this course, I’ll be able to strengthen my abilities. I found it hard trying to summarize the information that was on the website and couldn’t differ from it being paraphrased and my actual words. Overall, I enjoyed talking about the program but had trouble formatting the information and organizing paragraphs.
